Scholarship value/inclusions:

 The scholarship amount for students from non-EU/EEA countries is either € 10,000, € 12,500, €20,000, or € 22,500. The scholarship amount for students from EU/EEA countries is max. € 10,000.

 Eligibility/Application Requirements:

To qualify for a UTS, candidates must fulfill all of the following requirements:

·  Your programme starts in September

·  You have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the above mentioned UT graduate programmes before 15 March.

·  You have graduated with excellent academic results (overall CGPA) from your (under-)graduate programme.

·  You comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable).

·  You comply with the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills.

·  You are not eligible for a Dutch study grant.

·  You have completed a pre-master at the University of Twente (if applicable).

·  If you are starting a ‘pre-master’ programme you may already apply for a UTS. However, you must complete your pre-master programme with a CGPA of 7,5 out of 10 to be eligible for a UTS and comply with above mentioned requirements.

Please note: if you apply for a UTS scholarship without meeting all the requirements, your application will always be unsuccessful. The deadline for admissions is 15 March 2013 for study in September 2013.

2013-14 GCSS & IOR-ARC Scholarships for Malaysian Students in India

For 2013 -14 academic year, the Government of India is offering scholarships for Malaysian students to study at Indian Universities. It funds six scholarships under the General Cultural Scholarship Scheme (GCSS) for pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate degrees or research program and two scholarships under the IOR-ARC Scholarship Scheme for pursuing postgraduate courses only. These scholarships will cover tuition fees, living allowance, house rent allowance, thesis and dissertation expenses and study tour expenses. Applications form should be submitted by post before 14 February 2013.

Study Subject(s): The scholarships cover all courses except Medicine and Dentistry related courses.
Course Level: Students wishing to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate degrees, or research at Indian Universities can apply under the GCSS, while the IOR-ARC Scholarship Scheme is for Post-Graduate courses only.

Eligibility: The candidates should meet the following selection criteria: (i) the candidate should have the eligibility to apply for the postgraduate course, (ii) should be proficient in English, and (iii) should not have serious health problems. Priority will be given to students who have never studied in India before. Applicants are also advised to do due diligence and research on the specific admission criteria laid down by the various Universities for each postgraduate course, and ensure that they submit all relevant documentation as required by the Universities in addition to the certificates mentioned in the ICCR Scholarship Application Form.

Scholarship Open for International Students: The Students of Malaysia can apply for this scholarship.

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) will administer these scholarship programmes. Several institutions in India for various courses including Engineering / Architecture / Technology, Humanities / Liberal Arts, Commerce, Management / Business Administration, Journalism, Hotel Management, Agriculture / Animal Husbandry, Science, Law, Dance and Music, etc., are covered under these scholarships.

The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management ist one of Germany’s leading business schools. Outstanding graduates of a master programme in business administration, finance, economics, mathematics or a related field who aspire to launch an academic career are invited to apply. Students are expected to devote 100% of their working time to their doctoral studies at the Frankfurt School for at least three years. All scholarships will be granted on the basis of academic criteria only. The application deadline is 15 April 2013. Exceptional candidates submitting their applications by 1 February 2013 may be fast-tracked and eligible to start by 15 March.
